Sophie Uy is the ultimate beauty lover. She is a sales manager for a printing press by day, and a beauty blogger by night. She graduated with honors at the De La Salle University with the Degree in Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics, thus, coining her beauty blog Beautyomics, a mix of beauty and Economics, two things that she loves most.
Aside from that, she is also a freelance makeup artist and a beauty consultant. After taking up Basic Makeup Artistry in the Philippines, she pursued further studies in Singapore, taking up Advanced Makeup Artistry, and Airbrush makeup. To date, she has done several photo shoots, weddings, fashion shows, and a billboard. She also takes great joy in teaching makeup, and personal coaching to girls who want to look their best. She has spoken in several speaking engagements, amongst them, is teaching makeup tips and a mineral makeup campaign for the Philippine Dermatological Society Visayas Chapter held last year in Palawan. With her juggling several hats, she also maintains an online store, Beautyandminerals.com, carrying a well-known brand of mineral makeup, and carrying her own line of makeup brushes.
All of these proves only one thing – she is smitten with beauty, and forever will she be!
