
Look at this place. This is a street with a public school, which would serve as a polling place on May 10, 2010, the day when Filipino people will go out and vote, making an individual stand that would collectively determine the future of the Republic of the Philippines.
Going back, notice how dirty the place is? It’s filled with posters pasted on walls, tarpaulins hung even on the lines of electricity. The once clean place is filled with unnecessary posters, with faces of candidates, perhaps photoshopped at its best. I honestly don’t see the need for these flyers – do they speak of platforms? How will we know that behind the face of the candidate printed on paper is sincere about our country? Perhaps, to be remembered.
